ESMI Ltd ("ESMi", "we") is the Enterprise Service Management Institute, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14878901), registered office: 6 Mill Lane, Ashington, West Sussex, RH20 3BX. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at contact@esmi.org.uk.

What we collect and why

Readiness Index. If you complete our readiness assessment and request your report, we collect your name, organisation, role, email address and your assessment responses and scores. We use these to email you your personalised report and to follow up with you about your results. That follow-up is part of the service you request when you submit the form.

Exchange waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and use it solely to keep you informed about the Exchange, including early access.

Contact form. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, organisation, email address and message, and use them to respond to your enquiry.

Email enquiries. If you email us, we hold your correspondence to respond to and manage your enquiry.

We do not add you to any marketing list without asking you separately, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.

Legal bases

Where you request something from us (your report, waitlist updates, a reply to an enquiry), we process your information to take steps at your request - and where we follow up about your results, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who have engaged with our diagnostic, which you are told about at the point of submission. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Who processes your information

Form submissions on this site are relayed to our inbox by Forminit, a form service registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office which processes submissions on servers located in the EU. The submission is delivered to us by email and is not retained by us on that service.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless service, to understand aggregate site usage - it does not track individual visitors or collect personal information. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and assessment information for as long as needed to provide what you asked for and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain our records, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, have it deleted, and object to our processing of it. To exercise any of these, email contact@esmi.org.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
